fortunata LIVING loves Come Sail Away featured in the June 2011 issue. Nancy Church's beach house designed in colloberation with her friend and architect, John DeSalvo demonstrates exectued beauty by use of creative and practical materials.
The creative duo chose Pac-Clad for the exterior surfaces. Pac-Clad is normally used as a roofing material and works beautifully here. It is cost-efficient, very durable, maintenance free, and comes in a variety of colors.
We love the open format of the space upstairs and the curtains made from parachute fabric called ParaGear.

A nice use of traditional and modern design elements.
A wise use of a neutral and white palette. The sisal rug adds a natural and organic element and the decorative accent pillow is unexpected and fun.
Just gorgeous design with the black shiny wood floors and black and white elements with a touch of gold. This small wall is deslgned and accessorized beautifully.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 7:33AM Tommy Smythe, Sarah Richardson's sidekick on Sarah's House featured on HGTV, executed a classic, warm, and visually stimulating kitchen with white-painted wall cabinets and blue-painted base cabinets, which work beautifullly with the blue-tiled floor and dark painted millwork and trim on the French doors. The classic design elements work well with the textured marble backsplash tiles and shiny stainless steel appliances, sink, and plumbing fixutures. The farm table and antique pendant light attribute to the hints of a farmhouse space. This is a kitchen design that pays attention to the details and the end result is fabulous, warm, and full of personality.
