Works by Aurelie Mathigot

Fortunata living LOVES intriquing work by Aurelie Mathigot

Paris-based artist, Aurelie Mathigot uses an incredible process to create her stunning and notable pieces.  She first photograhs her subjects, then prints the images on canvas.  The work is then embellished by hand and machine layered embroidery and by her use of crochet and knitting techniques.  The result is multi-layered pieces that are interesting and richly textured.
